What Is It
Acceptance means allowing reality to be what it is before trying to change it. It’s the gateway to peace.
Why It Matters
Resisting what is brings suffering; meeting it with openness brings clarity. Through acceptance, we make room for healing.
Gentle Breathing
- Inhale and say silently: “This is here.”
- Exhale: “And I allow it.”
- Notice the relief when you stop fighting the moment.
Loving Body Scan
- If you feel tension anywhere, place a hand there and breathe into it.
- Say: “You’re allowed to be here.”
- Soften around the feeling instead of pushing it away.
Self-Reflection
- What am I resisting most right now?
- What happens when I simply allow it to exist?
